World of Frozen Opens at Disneyland Paris as Disney Adventure World Debuts

Disneyland Paris opened World of Frozen on March 29, the centerpiece of its rebranded second gate now called Disney Adventure World.

The themed land recreates the Kingdom of Arendelle at full scale, with a family boat ride, character encounters with Anna and Elsa, themed dining, retail shops, and a daytime show. The immersive environment extends to architectural details — stone buildings, a frozen waterfall, and mountain scenery designed to transport visitors into the film's Scandinavian-inspired setting.

The opening marks the culmination of a multi-year, multi-billion-euro transformation of what was previously known as Walt Disney Studios Park. The rebrand to Disney Adventure World reflects a shift from a behind-the-scenes movie theme to fully immersive world-building.

World of Frozen follows the successful launch of Frozen-themed lands at Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, but the Paris version is the largest to date.

Early visitor reviews highlight the boat ride and the level of environmental detail as standout elements. Queue times during opening weekend exceeded two hours for the headline attraction.
