Kimpton Tres Ríos opens in Mexico's Riviera Maya

Kimpton Tres Ríos All Inclusive has opened in Mexico's Riviera Maya. Set in a 340-acre nature reserve between Playa del Carmen and Cancun, it is the first all-inclusive resort under the Kimpton brand.

The resort has 355 rooms and suites, each with a balcony or terrace. Some room categories have plunge pools or soaking tubs, and two- and three-bedroom suites are available.

The pools include one for children, one for adults and a family-friendly pool with a water slide. The Kej Spa offers hydrotherapy experiences, yoga classes and treatments.

The resort has seven restaurants and bars. Dining options include Mexican, Italian, Japanese and Mediterranean food, plus a steakhouse. There is also a poolside bar and a sports bar.

The property is pet-friendly and has a kids club and a two-story fitness center. Guests can kayak, snorkel or explore cenotes in the Tres Rios nature park.
