Delta has postponed the launch of its nonstop Atlanta-Riyadh route until March 2027. The change pushes back a new direct link between the airline's Atlanta hub and the Saudi capital.

The service was originally due to begin on October 23, 2026. Delta's earlier announcement outlined an initial period of daily flights, followed by three flights a week.

Delta says it remains committed to serving Saudi Arabia and now looks forward to connecting the country to its network in March 2027.

Travelers with affected bookings can review their options in My Trips on delta.com. Delta says flexible options include a refund of the unflown portion of the trip.

A Riyadh travel waiver is also available. Affected customers can use the Delta app or website to review rebooking options and make changes to their trip.
