Luura Cliff Opens as an Adults-Only Cliffside Retreat on Paros
Luura Cliff opened in early May as an adults-only retreat on a secluded cliffside on the Greek island of Paros. The property is spread across stepped buildings that follow the natural contours of the cliff, with each room oriented toward an unobstructed view of the Aegean Sea.
Suites range from standard rooms with private terraces to two-bedroom villas with plunge pools. Interiors emphasize whitewashed walls, smooth Cycladic stone, and locally sourced linens, in keeping with traditional island architecture but with contemporary fittings throughout.
The centerpiece is an infinity pool cantilevered over the cliff, with a dedicated bar and sunset terrace. A second pool set lower into the rock serves the wellness center. Dining is handled by two restaurants, one featuring open-fire grilling and the other a tasting menu using island-grown produce.
Paros has grown into one of the most popular alternatives to Santorini and Mykonos in the Cyclades, with traveler counts up sharply over the past three years. Luura Cliff is positioned on the quieter southwest coast, away from the main port at Parikia and the busier beaches around Naoussa.
Summer rates start around 580 euros per night for a standard suite and rise into four figures for the largest villas in August. The property is open from late April through early November and connects to Athens by Aegean Airlines flights or by SeaJets ferry from Piraeus.
