Cancel a subscription and understand your remaining access

Canceling a product subscription stops its future renewals. Read the confirmation for your account's paid access date before completing the change.

Cancel future renewals

  1. Open My Purchases, then Subscriptions.
  2. Find the product and open its action menu.
  3. Select Cancel Subscription.
  4. Read the access date and renewal information in the confirmation.
  5. Select Yes, Cancel Subscription. Choose Keep Subscription if you do not want to make the change.
  6. Check the updated subscription entry for its cancellation status or access-until date.

If cancellation is already being processed, wait and check the entry again. Repeated clicks do not make it finish sooner.

What you can still download

For a paid product subscription, you keep access through the end of the current paid period. After that, the tier you purchased determines what remains:

  • Keep the last paid version lets you use the last included version, without future updates.
  • Access only while subscribed ends content access with the paid period.

Check your purchased tier terms. Do not assume that canceling every tier leaves permanent download access. Canceling renewal also removes a scheduled future tier change.

Use View & Download to see the file currently available to your account. The product's latest release may be newer than that version.

Cancellation is not a refund. A subscription marked Refunded has different access rules, and its files are no longer available through that subscription.

If the first payment is unfinished

An incomplete first payment is handled separately. The cancellation dialog explains that the payment must still be unpaid before it can be canceled. If the result says the payment may still complete or needs review, refresh your subscription list or contact support before starting another subscription.
