World of Hyatt plans online points transfers for October 15

World of Hyatt members are expected to gain online points transfers on October 15, 2026. Reports published October 14 give a launch date for a feature promised earlier this year.

The new option will let members transfer points directly to another member through Hyatt.com. Previously, members had to complete a PDF form and send it to Hyatt for processing.

That form-based process could mean waiting days to combine points. Moving transfers online would simplify pooling balances for an award stay, though processing times have not been confirmed.

Under the existing rules described in the reports, transfers are free and members can send or receive points only once every 30 days. A family relationship is not required.

The reports do not establish whether the new system changes those restrictions. Transfer limits and the detailed online process were still unclear ahead of the planned launch.
