Atmos Rewards plans Bank of America transfers and a debit card

Alaska Air Group plans to let customers with eligible Bank of America cards transfer points into Atmos Rewards in 2027. It also plans to introduce an Atmos Rewards debit card in early 2027.

Alaska has not identified which Bank of America cards will qualify or announced a transfer rate. Those details will matter to travelers deciding how to earn points for a future trip.

The planned debit card would earn Atmos Rewards points and status points. Alaska says its benefits will include flight and onboard purchase discounts, free points sharing and no foreign transaction fees.

Pre-registration for the debit card is open at atmosrewards.com/debit. The card itself is planned for early 2027, so pre-registration does not mean it is available to use now.

Alaska also plans to add transfer options with other select financial institutions over time. Travelers considering a Bank of America transfer will need to wait for the eligible-card and transfer terms before relying on it for a booking.
