What's New on TrekGuider Since Launch
Subscription tiers, an AI assistant for creators, a new Help Center and a dozen more improvements we've shipped since October 6.
TrekGuider opened on October 6, and we've shipped something new almost every day since. Here's a quick look at all of it. The biggest updates have their own articles with the details.
For creators
Subscription tiers. One product can now offer several subscription options with different content and prices. For example, "Guide" for $5 a month and "Guide with a personal call" for $25. You can sell monthly, quarterly, six-month or yearly plans and give a discount for the longer ones. That works for much more than guides: a private club, regular calls or trip reviews. Read more about subscription tiers.
Your own AI assistant. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant to your shop and hand it everyday work in plain words: draft a product, set a price, write an article, reply to a review, show last month's sales. You decide what it's allowed to do. Read more about the AI assistant.
See where your buyers come from. Sales Analytics has a new Marketing tab. Make a separate link for each post or video and see which ones bring buyers. You can also connect Pinterest there and see impressions, saves and clicks on your Pins. Read more about tracking links.
Free promo codes for everyone. Promo codes used to be part of the paid Creator+ plan. Now every creator can make them.
Claiming your page is easier. We've prepared pages for more than 1,500 travel creators. If one of them is yours, you can claim it in a couple of minutes: sign in, add a short code to your YouTube, TikTok or Discord description and click Check now. Read more about claiming your page.
A friendlier product editor. You can add a link anywhere in your description, and images land exactly where your cursor was. The editor works well on a phone too.
For everyone
A new Help Center and support tickets. The Help Center now has 109 step-by-step guides across 16 topics, plus a search that understands everyday words. If you can't find an answer, open a ticket: the whole conversation stays in one place, you can see its status, and you get an email with every reply. You don't even need an account. Read more about support.
A community on Discord. Connect your TrekGuider account to Discord, and we'll add you to the server and give you a role: Buyer for everyone, Creator for creators. Read more about the community.
New ways to browse. You can now browse products by destination, by category and by product type: guides, maps, itineraries and more. Product pages also show more work from the same creator.
New sign-in and sign-up windows. They're simpler now. You can generate a strong password with one click and check it before saving. Two-factor sign-in and account recovery happen in the same window.
Creators on the home page. The home page now features only complete profiles, with a photo, a description, and products or a real audience.
More reliable subscription payments. If your bank asks you to confirm a payment on a separate page, your subscription now starts right after you confirm.
Tidier emails. Every email has one clear unsubscribe link at the bottom, and your email settings open straight from the email, without signing in.
Cookie settings now live on the Cookie Policy page and in your account settings under Privacy.
