United Airlines has shortened its planned San Francisco-Adelaide season for 2026/27, according to schedule reporting by Aero South Pacific.

The revised season runs from December 17, 2026, through February 8, 2027. The previous plan covered December 3 through March 25.

The change reduces the schedule from 49 to 23 round trips, a cut of 53.1%. The route uses Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

United launched the seasonal service in December 2025. It was the first nonstop connection between the South Australian capital and the United States.

For travelers, the revised schedule removes roughly two weeks of nonstop availability in December and about seven weeks at the end of the season.
