United Airlines and Air Canada announced six US-Canada routes on October 16 for summer 2027, adding nonstop options between the two countries.

United will add seasonal flights between Newark and St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. It will also launch Denver-Ottawa and Denver-Quebec City service.

Air Canada will connect Toronto Pearson with Louisville from April 28 through October 31, 2027, with service increasing to daily in May.

Montreal-Indianapolis flights will run daily from June 1 through September 30, 2027. Edmonton-Newark service will operate four times weekly from June 1 through October 17.

The expansion also brings more seats on existing routes. Air Canada plans to use the larger Airbus A220 between Edmonton and San Francisco, while United will increase daily seats between Denver and Winnipeg by 65%.

For travelers heading to the New York region, Edmonton-Newark adds a direct option, plus onward connections through United's Newark hub.
