Alaska Airlines plans to launch nonstop flights between Anchorage and Tokyo Narita on May 13, 2027. The new route is subject to government approval.

Flights will operate daily during the summer through September 7, 2027. The airline also plans three flights a week in winter, beginning in January 2028.

The route will use Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. Main Cabin and Premium Class passengers will receive a complimentary meal, including a hot entree and dessert, with vegetarian options available.

Introductory round-trip fares start at $999 for travel from Anchorage to Tokyo Narita between May 13 and June 7, 2027. The offer runs through October 31, subject to availability; a round-trip purchase is required.

Tickets are on sale at alaskaair.com and hawaiianairlines.com. The service will link Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport directly with Narita International Airport.
