Prepare a clear product title and search preview

A good title tells someone what the product is before they open it. “Paris Walking Guide: 3 Days of Self-Guided Routes” is more useful than “The Ultimate Adventure.” Use the description to explain the details the title cannot hold.

Write the visible listing

In Product Title, use the destination or subject and the kind of product you are selling. Keep it within the field's character limit. Ordinary punctuation and accented place names are supported; avoid emoji and decorative text.

In Product Description, answer the questions a buyer is likely to ask:

  • What files or resources are included?
  • Who is the product for?
  • Which places or activities does it cover?
  • What format is it in, and is a particular app needed?
  • What is not included?

Use short paragraphs and helpful headings. A preview image should support the description, not hide information that a buyer needs before paying.

Check the search preview

Open the optional SEO settings in Advanced settings. Review Meta Title and Meta Description, which can be filled from the listing's title and description.

The meta title should identify the same product clearly. The description should be a complete sentence explaining its main value and contents. Avoid repeating place names or phrases just to fill the field.

The preview helps you check the wording. Search engines may show different text or shorten it, so treat it as a preview rather than a guaranteed search appearance.

Save your work

Select Save & Continue. If the product is already published, title, description, and SEO changes may wait for review while the approved version remains visible.
