Request a review of an account restriction

On this page

An account restriction notice explains the action affecting your account. Start with that notice, since the steps depend on the reason shown.

Read the notice

Check the Reason section and any end date. Some notices describe a temporary restriction; others state that it is permanent.

If you were given an account notice link, keep it private. It may be intended for your account only.

Ask for a review

When the notice offers an Appeal form:

  1. Explain why you believe the restriction needs another look.
  2. Include relevant facts, such as the affected product or transaction and what happened.
  3. Select Submit Appeal.
  4. Check the page for the submission confirmation or review status.

Keep the explanation clear and specific. Do not include passwords, sign-in codes, full payment details, or unrelated personal documents.

After you submit

An under review message means your appeal is waiting for a decision. It does not confirm that the restriction has been removed.

If your appeal is rejected, read the response before taking another step. Where the page allows another appeal, use it to provide relevant new information rather than repeating the same message.

If you cannot use the appeal form or need help understanding the notice, contact TrekGuider support. Creating another account is not a way to resolve the restriction on the original account.
