Finish or recover a large file upload

Before starting, check the file-size limit shown in Media & Files > Files. Use a stable connection and keep the page open until the file appears in the product's file list.

While the file uploads

The upload area shows progress and may show the current speed. A file can still need a finishing step after its progress bar reaches the end, so wait for the file entry rather than closing the tab immediately.

For uploads that offer Pause, you can pause the transfer and select Resume from the same open page. If those controls are not shown, that upload cannot be paused from the page.

Do not rely on closing the browser or refreshing the page as a way to pause. You may need to select the file again when you return.

If the connection drops

Read the message in the upload area. If Resume remains available, reconnect and use it. Otherwise, confirm that your connection is working, select the file again, and let the new attempt finish.

Use Cancel when you want to stop the current upload. Before starting over, check the file list so you do not add an extra copy of a file that already finished.

If the file is uploaded but needs attention

Checking file means it is not ready yet. If you see Not checked, follow the instruction to remove and upload it again, or contact support if the same problem continues.

For Virus check failed, remove the file and prepare a clean copy. Do not rename it or change its extension just to try to get past the message.

When asking for help, include the product name, file name and size, browser, and exact message. Do not send private upload links. See Add product photos, files, and notes.
