Get help with an expired or already claimed gift

Read the message on the gift page before trying again. A link that cannot be claimed does not always mean the same thing: the gift may be inactive, already used, or addressed to another account.

Gift link expired

An unclaimed gift expires 365 days after it was created. Resending its email does not restart that period. Gift link expired means the link is no longer active. Ask the sender to check the gift's status in My Purchases, under Orders. If the status does not explain what happened, contact support about the original gift.

Resending an email is not a promise that an expired or canceled gift becomes active again. Do not buy another copy until the original gift has been checked.

Already claimed

If you claimed the gift, sign in to the account you used and look in My Purchases. You should use that purchase entry for access rather than claim the link again.

If neither you nor the sender recognizes the claim, ask support to investigate. Include the sender, intended recipient, product, and any order reference the sender can provide. Keep the gift link out of public comments.

An unexpected claim under another email

If the buyer's claimed-gift email says a different email address claimed it, that message may offer Undo this claim (within 24 hours of the claim). The window runs from the claim time, not from when you open the email.

Use that link, sign in as the buyer if asked, and read Confirm Gift Revert. Revert Gift Claim makes the gift claimable again and removes the recipient's claim order. Keep Gift Claimed leaves it as it is. This option is for an eligible different-email claim, not a general undo for every gift. If the option is missing, expired, or refused, contact support.

Stop reminders about a gift

Use the gift email's unsubscribe link and confirm Unsubscribe. This stops reminders and resends about that gift. It does not cancel the gift or change your other email choices; the original claim link still works while the gift is active.

Different email on this account

Sign in with the recipient email. If the address was entered incorrectly, the sender can check whether the unclaimed gift still offers a recipient change.

This is the gift you sent means you are viewing it as the buyer. Share it with the intended recipient instead of claiming it yourself.

You already own this

Open the existing product in your purchases. Tell the sender so they can consider changing the recipient while the gift remains unclaimed.
