Claim a gift and download your product

Open the gift link from the email or the private message the sender shared with you. Claim it using the same email address the sender entered for the gift.

Claim the gift

1. Open the gift page and check what was sent to you.
2. Select Sign in to claim. If you are new to TrekGuider, create your account during that step using the recipient email.
3. If asked, verify your email. Open the verification email, complete the confirmation, and return to the gift page.
4. Select Claim your gift and wait for the result.
5. Open My Purchases to find the product and its download action.

You do not need to buy the gift again. Once claimed, use your own account to access it rather than asking the sender to download the files for you.

If the account email does not match

The page may say Different email on this account. Sign in with the address the gift was sent to. If the sender used the wrong address, ask them to update the recipient while the gift is still unclaimed.

Do not create extra accounts just to guess which address was used. Check with the sender first.

If you already own the product

The gift page can direct you to the copy already in your purchases. You do not need to claim it again. Let the sender know so they can decide whether to choose another recipient.
