Understand buyer referral discounts and free-product rewards

Buyer referrals can give your friend a first-purchase discount, give you a reward code after their qualifying purchase, and count toward a free-product reward. A sign-up alone does not earn all three rewards.

Your friend's first-purchase offer

Ask a new buyer to register through your personal referral link within 30 days of opening it. An eligible referred buyer receives a personal 15% code for their first qualifying purchase. Seller registrations do not receive this buyer welcome offer.

The discount has two kinds of limits:

• Up to $50 off each TrekGuider product.
• Up to $25 off each creator product.
• Up to $50 off the order in total with the code.

For example, 15% off a $200 creator product would normally be $30, but the per-product limit makes that discount $25. Check the actual discount in checkout before paying.

The buyer must sign in to the account receiving the code. It is a first-purchase offer, not a transferable discount for an existing buyer. Receiving a gift someone else paid for is different from making your own first paid purchase.

Your reward for inviting the buyer

After their first qualifying purchase, your reward enters a 30-day review period. Once approved, you receive your own personal 15% promo code with the same product and order caps. This code is for your next eligible purchase; you do not need to be a first-time buyer yourself.

Check the TrekGuider promo-code email and the reward status in Referral Program. Refunds or payment disputes can affect whether a purchase reward is approved or remains available.

A free product for every 10 approved referrals

Every 10 approved buyer purchase rewards earns one free-product reward. Choose an eligible TrekGuider product priced up to $50 or a creator product priced up to $25.

This reward covers one eligible product. It is not $50 cash, a balance top-up or a credit toward any more expensive product. Other items in the same order can still need payment. A subscription's future renewals are a separate commitment, so review their terms if checkout offers a subscription choice.

Pending referrals do not count toward the milestone until approved. Use the progress section and any Awaiting reward approval or Awaiting free product issuance message to follow it.

Apply the code before paying

Enter the code in checkout's Promo code field, select Apply, and check the total. Discounts do not combine; checkout may keep a larger automatic discount instead. Read Using promo codes, Tracking referral rewards, or Sharing your invitation for the related steps.
