Disney Adventure Becomes the Largest Disney Cruise Ship With Singapore Debut

Disney Cruise Line launched its largest vessel, the Disney Adventure, from Singapore in March 2026. The ship accommodates more than 6,000 guests and operates year-round from the Southeast Asian hub.

The Disney Adventure features an onboard roller coaster, multiple themed dining venues, and immersive entertainment spaces drawing from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars properties. The ship's size allows for more deck space and larger public areas than previous Disney vessels.

Singapore was chosen as the home port to tap into Asia-Pacific cruise demand, which has rebounded strongly since the pandemic. The positioning gives the Disney Adventure access to Southeast Asian itineraries including Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia.

The launch caps a busy March for the cruise industry. Norwegian Cruise Line also debuted the Norwegian Luna, the fourth ship in its Prima class, while Four Seasons Yachts entered the market with its inaugural vessel.

The 2026 cruise calendar is the most active in years, with an estimated two dozen new ships entering service across the industry, led by luxury hotel brands making their maritime debuts and established lines expanding their fleets.
