Choose which emails you receive

You can choose which optional emails TrekGuider sends you. Essential account and transaction messages remain enabled so you can keep track of important changes.

Change an email preference

1. Open Account Settings.
2. Scroll to Email Notifications.
3. Turn the available categories on or off.
4. Wait for the settings confirmation before leaving the page.

The categories you see depend on your account. A creator may have different options from someone who only buys products.

If a preference does not save, read the error and try that change again. Reopen settings to check the stored choice rather than assuming an on-screen switch was saved.

Use a link in an email

An optional email may include Unsubscribe or a link to email preferences. Read the category named on the page before confirming. On Email preferences, adjust the available choices and select Save preferences. These links are personal, so do not forward them.

Newsletter signup is a separate choice. Read Subscribe to travel updates or unsubscribe if you used the newsletter form.

Messages that stay enabled

Security, order and refund emails, disputes, moderation rejections, and payment or payout problems cannot be disabled in this section. Turning off optional updates does not stop these notices.

Keep your account email current even if you prefer fewer messages. You may need it for receipts, account recovery, or an action on a purchase.

If you still receive an email

Check which category the message belongs to. An account or payment notice can still arrive after you turn off an optional category. If an optional message keeps arriving after the change is saved, contact support with its subject and the preference you changed. Leave out working sign-in links and private codes.
