Bilt adds Amtrak Guest Rewards points transfers

Bilt members can now transfer Bilt Points to Amtrak Guest Rewards, adding a new way to book train travel with rewards. The transfer rate is 2 Bilt Points for 1 Amtrak point. Source

Transfers are available in the Bilt app and on Bilt's website. Members must link an Amtrak Guest Rewards account before their first transfer. Source

Transfers must be made in increments of 1,000 Bilt Points. The minimum is 1,000 points for most members and 2,000 for members with Blue Status. Source

Amtrak says its network covers more than 500 destinations in 46 states and parts of Canada. Reward travel starts at 400 Amtrak points, or 100 points when using Points & Cash. Source

Before moving points, check the Amtrak trip you want and compare the points needed with the cash fare. At the 2:1 rate, transferring 1,000 Bilt Points yields 500 Amtrak points. Source
