Amtrak will add a second daily round trip on the Pennsylvanian starting November 18, expanding train options between New York City and Pittsburgh.

The service runs via Philadelphia and Harrisburg and connects communities across Pennsylvania. The extra round trip gives travelers more daily departures to choose from.

Onboard options include Coach and Business Class seating. The Pennsylvanian also offers free Wi-Fi and cafe service for passengers traveling along the route.

Travelers can bring bicycles using the Pennsylvanian's trainside checked bicycle service, an option for trips across Pennsylvania and the Northeast Corridor.

Tickets for the new departures are already available on Amtrak.com and in the Amtrak mobile app. Travelers can book the added service ahead of its November 18 start.
